Print and web designer for one of Southern California's largest privately owned multi-family real estate firms. Major
responsibilities include design and maintenance of six company intranet and internet sites. Art direction and
production for annual sales meeting/award ceremony and industry conference. Create marketing materials for print and
electronic distribution.
March 1992 to November 2000:
Provide design/prepress production of collateral and advertising for 150+ apartment communities. Responsibilities
ranging from new ad development, to promotional premiums, to creative direction on photo shoots. Strengthened in-house
marketing department with computer design and technical support. Installed and maintained Macintosh network, including
administration of file-server, QuickMail, and system backups.
Diversified Communications Incorporated (Macintosh Artist)
December 1988 to March 1992:
Generated desktop publishing work for an apartment guide
magazine. While doing the DTP work, assisted in the conversion
of former publishing system to a state-of-the-art Magazine
Pre-press System. In conjunction with producing ads,
other projects included: line art photography,
overseeing the pagination of six biweekly California magazines,
while mentoring and training staff members.
Volt Technical Corporation (Graphic Artist)
October 1987 to December 1988:
Created camera ready advertisements for a variety of
telephone directories. Performed paste-up skills,
as well as hand inked logos, line art illustrations,
and improved the imagery on insufficient graphics.
Northeast Missouri State University (Student Designer)
August 1986 to May 1987:
Designed University publications, flyers, brochures,
pamphlets and student class schedule covers.
